Want a place to chill out, or have the time of your life?  Stay in this beautiful new custom-built home over- looking Kachemak Bay.  This house has panoramic views to remember.  See Kachemak Bay, three different glaciers streaming down the snow capped mountains and the world famous Homer Spit (a long narrow finger of land jutting 4.5 miles into the ocean.)  The spit is home to the beautiful Homer harbor, which is the “Halibut Fishing Capital of the World,” and there is the infamous fishing hole located on the spit, where salmon come back to spawn.  Catch king salmon, silver salmon and other species of salmon all summer long, right from the shore.

 

Chillville is a beautiful 2200 sq. ft. newly built tri-level home, with three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, full size kitchen, large living and dining room and a media/family room.  The main floor has a large kitchen with gorgeous granite countertops, imported brick flooring and a  Jenn-Air stove and oven.   Enjoy the beautiful custom-built slate fireplace, hardwood flooring and a 20-foot vaulted natural-pine ceiling in the spacious living /dining area with its majestic views.  Wakeup to a stunning Kachemak Bay sunrise in the master suite with a plush king size or 2 extra-long twin beds. Relax in the master bathroom with a large 6-foot Jacuzzi tub & shower.  For added convenience, there is a half bath located off the entry hall.

 

Wind your way up the hardwood curved staircase to the third level, where the loft opens to the main floor with a comfortable chaise lounge to chill-out in, read a good book ,enjoy the view or watch for moose wandering through the yard.  There are two private bedrooms on this level, each with a plush king or 2 extra-long twin beds, and a large bathroom complete with  tub and shower.  The lower level has a family/media room with a large screen  TV & DVD player.  There is a separate bar area with a microwave, mini refrigerator and sink for entertaining.  The family room also has a very comfortable queen size sleeper sofa and a bathroom with a shower.  It can be a private room on its on.

 

Outdoors, on the main level, is a wrap around deck, with glass railings to block the wind. It’s great for socializing with friends (you don’t need a “license to chill” here!)    Lounge in comfort under the covered porch warmed by the built-in outside fireplace or  sip on your favorite beverage and check out the view while relaxing in the 7 person hot tub.  Why not end your evening sitting around the fire pit in the yard roasting a few marsh mellows?

 

Homer is a top tourist spot in Alaska, convenient to many other popular areas.  This beautiful, friendly town is located at the end of  the Kenai Peninsula, four hours south of Anchorage along one of the most scenic highways in America.  The drive into Homer is breathtaking.  For those who wish to fly, several airlines service Homer with multiple flights daily.  There is so much to do here, you  won’t be disappointed.
